White Mountain Research Center (WMRC) is providing minigrants to support original graduate student research during 2013. Grants of $500 to $,1000 will be awarded on a competitive basis to offset the cost of meals and lodging at one or more of the WMRC research stations: Owens Valley, Crooked Creek, Barcroft, and Summit. No travel funds are available.

The completed two-page application should be submitted as an e-mail attachment to wmrcminigrant@ioes.ucla.edu by February 1, 2013. Two letters of recommendation should be submitted simultaneously but separately to this e-mail address by the student’s advisor and one other qualified scholar. Further information is available from WMRC Director Antony Orme at orme@geog.ucla.edu.
